In the Mood for Chinese

One of my favorite dishes that my mom cook for us; Chinese Stir-Fry Chicken. My mama taught me this easy way on how to cook this dish in less than 30 minutes, but you should directly hop into the shower after you are done from cooking it. Well this dish is probably worth all that, it's satisfying and very delicious. ♥♥

What you'll need is the following:

The main ingredient, 1 Chicken breast -marinated- and cut into bite-size pieces. The vegetables ingredients; 1 small carrot, snow peas, 1 spring onion, 5 small mushrooms, half bell pepper... You can use any other type of vegetable like; broccoli florrets, cabbage, lettuce, baby corn, etc.

1 Garlic clove and an almond size ginger, minced or finely chopped.

Salt and pepper, 4 table spoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons any kind of sweet chilli sauce -the sauce is spicy, you can control the spiciness by reducing the amount of this sauce-, to give it a sweet kick I add 1 table spoon Honey, and ofcourse extra virgin olive oil.

Directions:

At the beggining, I personally like to cook the vegetables seperately from the chicken. In a large deep pan, medium heat, I added the olive oil and all the vegetables, give it a little stir for about 7 minutes until tender.

In a different large wok, I heated the olive oil, added the garlic and ginger stir until you smell the aroma. I drizzled the soy sauce, the sweet chilli sauce, and honey into the garlic and ginger, then I added the chicken and salt and pepper. Cook and stir until the chicken has browned from the sauce and is no longer pink, about 7 minutes.

After the vegetables are a little bit softened, I combined the veggies into the chicken, cook for few minutes until all the ingredients are well-incorporated togather.

There you go, an easy home made chicken chinese stir-fry done in less than 30 minutes, can be cooked for lunch or dinner and serve it with either rice or noodles depends on your preference. BON APPETIT...

*PS: I made this dish for me only, since today I was alone at home, so the ingredients is for one person. You can double the ingredients if you want to do it for two.
