Days are passing soo fast, and it's the weekend already!!
Well this weekend will be full of expenditures since it's the end of the month, which means 'Ka-ching'; salary is in my account -wowhooo-. I have many things to do starting with; dying my hair, buying a gift for one of my friends -bridal shower-, grocery shopping, and saving the rest for my mini trip to Dubai next week and will shop till I drop there... =D
There are sooo many things that makes us happy, like an expensive gift/ purchase or a chic dine out at a fancy restaurant. But we always tend to ignore the little things and overlook them. I love the little things more than expensive gifts -and honestly, I don't find them as little things-, because they tend to have a more sentimental value and stay as a lovely memory.. <3
Here are some of the little things that makes me extremly happy:
My mama's food,
My sister's food,
Unplanned outings -especially with my hubby-, they tend to be better than the planned ones,
Changing my nail polish regularly,
Listen to the rain drops at night,
The Smell Of Fresh Cut Grass,
Flowers at home,
Loosing 1Kg ;p
Being taken care of while I'm sick,
Beginning of winter,
Looking through photographs on Flickr and Tumblr, so inspirational
When the plane lands safely,
Cooking and baking,
Looking at albums and reminiscing all the good memories
What are your little things that makes you happy??
One month ago, I went through very rough days with work, and ever since that I have been wanting to go and treat myself to a decent luxury spa with a relaxing soothing massage. This morning, me and my girls got all ready for this day that we have been all waiting for it eagerly for too long. Our direction, Al Areen Palace & Spa located at Al-Sakheer area.
When we reached the Spa, each one of us been led to her own room to get pampered. And from here, my relaxation journey begins... My masseuse -her name is Leila- showed me a number of Incense sticks with different aromas for me to choose to fill the room with a lovely fragrant, and I chose something called 'Champaka'; this scent refreshes the mind and calms the spirit -as instructed in the lable of the Incense sticks-. As I went to the bathroom and changed to my massage robe, Leila prepared a lovely ginger and honey tea -My favorite drink- and soaked my feet with water and lemon. After that, my massage session starts, a relaxing 'Essence of Earth' treatment.
After the amazing massage, we have been led to another room -relaxing room- prepared for us with some healthy snacks and lemon tea. Such an excellent successful relaxing day. I loved it.
Here are some snap shots of our day...
Me with the massage robe on...
Incense sticks, I chose the third one...

Our healthy snack; some pineapple, carrots and cucumbers, and a yummy lemon tea.

What are you up to this weekend my lovely people??
Well, my weekend will certainly be a relaxing one, which I already started it earlier this morning with a lovely day at the spa, and I will be posting about it later. Until the end of my weekend, I will be mostly spending it with the family and catching up on some of the movies that I recently bought. And tonight I will be watching 'Friends with benifit' and as my dinner it is Fitness Cereal with dried fruit and banana.
Whatever you'll do, just stay safe and have a great one... xxx

Here is my easy chocolate pastry recipe, where you will only need the following 4 ingredients; puff pastry, milk, chocolate bar or nutella, and caster or icing sugar.
First preheat oven to 200 c. I used 4 squares of frozen puff pastry sheets, cut each to half. Place 1 chocolate piece on the edge of the pastry, and Roll the dough tightly. Brush the top of each pastry with milk or egg -I used milk-.
Place pastry rolls on baking sheet, and add a sprinkle of icing sugar/any caster sugar you like and bake it in the oven for about 20 minutes or until you notice that the pastries are getting the color golden brown.
And we are done, serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy... =D
Today I bumped into one of my favorite friends at Al Aali Mall at her kiosk, she is the owner of House of H store that is located in the second floor of Al Aali Mall. She sells very pretty accessories (Rings, necklaces, earrings, headbands, clutches, etc...) and many other cute stuff.
And this is what I got myself today from her Summer collection, a pair of beautiful hand earrings that I've been wanting something similar for soooo long..
This is their Facebook Link, check out their latest collection, very beautiful... =D

One of my favorite dishes that my mom cook for us; Chinese Stir-Fry Chicken. My mama taught me this easy way on how to cook this dish in less than 30 minutes, but you should directly hop into the shower after you are done from cooking it. Well this dish is probably worth all that, it's satisfying and very delicious. ♥♥
What you'll need is the following:
The main ingredient, 1 Chicken breast -marinated- and cut into bite-size pieces. The vegetables ingredients; 1 small carrot, snow peas, 1 spring onion, 5 small mushrooms, half bell pepper... You can use any other type of vegetable like; broccoli florrets, cabbage, lettuce, baby corn, etc.
1 Garlic clove and an almond size ginger, minced or finely chopped.
Salt and pepper, 4 table spoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons any kind of sweet chilli sauce -the sauce is spicy, you can control the spiciness by reducing the amount of this sauce-, to give it a sweet kick I add 1 table spoon Honey, and ofcourse extra virgin olive oil.
At the beggining, I personally like to cook the vegetables seperately from the chicken. In a large deep pan, medium heat, I added the olive oil and all the vegetables, give it a little stir for about 7 minutes until tender.
In a different large wok, I heated the olive oil, added the garlic and ginger stir until you smell the aroma. I drizzled the soy sauce, the sweet chilli sauce, and honey into the garlic and ginger, then I added the chicken and salt and pepper. Cook and stir until the chicken has browned from the sauce and is no longer pink, about 7 minutes.
After the vegetables are a little bit softened, I combined the veggies into the chicken, cook for few minutes until all the ingredients are well-incorporated togather.
There you go, an easy home made chicken chinese stir-fry done in less than 30 minutes, can be cooked for lunch or dinner and serve it with either rice or noodles depends on your preference. BON APPETIT...
*PS: I made this dish for me only, since today I was alone at home, so the ingredients is for one person. You can double the ingredients if you want to do it for two.
