Glittered Chocolate Truffles

Today I was invited at my besties place,  lots of funny gossips and FOOOD. The best thing that they did was this heavenly Glittery Chocolate Truffles...

And this is a gift they gave me from London (Harvey Nichols); Edible Glitter.

Lazy Wednesday

Today was a lazy day. Had a long busy day at work, not forgetting that I am also fasting my (Qatha'a- قضاء) very late this year and the holy month of Ramadhan is only few days ahead -Bad girl-... Prayer time is going to be very late this Ramadan, almost at 6.25pm...

Soo anyway, i had my futoor with my hubby, prayed, nap, watched some TV shows, my sister visited me at home, and that's about it pretty much..

Now, I'm spending the rest of my night playing my favorite game (Sudoku) and sipping my organic green tea...

Face Care Rituals

Every girl and importantly the ones who wear makeup should take good care of their face by carrying out a routine of cleansing, toning and moisturizing their face REGULARLY. 

What I basically do is the following:

1. Cleanse & Tone
2. Moisturize

From left to right: Jhonson's Face Care (Gel Face Wash), NIVEA Visage (Eye Make-up Remover), The Body Shop (Vitamin E Hydrating Toner), Boots (Cucumber Cleansing Wipes), and Cotton buds dipped in the eye make-up remover to easily remove the mascara residue, liner, etc.

Cellulite Control

Total Lunar Eclipse in the Kingdom...

Last night on the15th of June 2011, Bahrain have witnessed a beautiful Lunar Eclipse at around 9 pm up to approximately 12.30 am... The eclipse lasted for more than 100 minutes in parts of Asia, Europe and Africa making it the longest since 2000 and one of the longest on record, according to NASA.

The Eclipse occurs when the moon passes behind the earth so that the earth blocks the sun's rays from striking the moon. This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are aligned exactly, or very closely so, with the Earth in the middle. Hence, a lunar eclipse can only occur the night of a full moon. 

So, I couldn't help but share some of the photos... :)

My trip to the beautiful Turkey "Istanbul"...

This is my first post about my trip to Turkey with my hubby... This vacation was soo exciting, we had an amazing time seeing the country, beautiful people, breathtaking views, mouth-watering dishes, uhhh and a lot more. Not only that, I even celebrated my birthday in a beautiful restaurant located in the most popular touristic area "Taksim Square"...

I thought I would share some pictures of the fantastic places we've seen, yummy dishes we ate, and more. Enjoy...

Turkey is mostly famous for its tea "çay" pronounced "Chai", we have it after every meal, it's soo good... 

I bought this cute blue bowl and two small colorful ones. I use them as an accessory organizer...

The beautiful Taksim Square, it is a major shopping, touristic and leisure area known for its restaurants, shops and hotels. 

360 is a beautiful restaurant/ bar/ club that is situated in a top roof of a building in Taksim Beyoglu, it also has a breath-taking view of Istanbul... Me and my hubby celebrated my 25th birthday there, soo romantic and memorable. <3

This Chestnut kiosk is EVERYWHERE, literally everywhere... I loove it, it's soo warm and delicious...

Oh my Lord, this Kunaffa is AMAZIIIING, it is served with a cream on top and a sprinkle of pistachio and Voillaaaa... We eat this delicious desert almost EVERYDAY... It is from a restaurant in Taksim Square called Saray, they also serve other types of desserts as well as some yummy dishes.

Typical Turkish breakfast, it consists of assorted  cheese, olives, honey and cream, Turkish yogurt, eggs, cucumbers,  Turkish sausage, breads, menmen -scrambled eggs with roasted tomatoes, peppers, and olive oil-, and much much more...

The Sultan Ahmed Mosque, a historical mosque in Istanbul. It is also known as the Blue Mosque for the blue tiles adorning the walls of its interior.

The Orient House restaurant, located at the very heart of the Old City in Istanbul, it offers all the traditional entertainment of Ottoman Sultans.

I really can't get over this succulent Kunnafa... 

Turkey was a very beautiful experience, we can't wait to go and explore more beautiful areas in Turkey soon...
