Welcome Ձ01Ձ ♥

Happy New Year my beautiful readers, inshallah your years ahead be filled with love, happiness, health, and blessings!

My new year celebration was quite cosy, we spent it at home with the family and loved ones. We had an Italian buffet followed by two yummy cakes, it was soo good. Then my aunte was giving all of us out these christmas crackers to add up some fun to the night, and guess what; me and my hubby got the exact goodies, good sign I hope... =D

We all had a wonderful time, we all shared our new year's wishes. Out of all our positive and optimistic wishes, we all had this one special mutual wish; that this year onward hopefully be better for our lovely Bahrain and be filled with peace and prosperity, and the whole world too inshallah.

Is there a sight more heartwarming than a family gathering enjoying the new years eve together? I don't think so... ;) How did you guys spent your new year's? Hope you had a blast...

Happy New Year...

Love, Alla <3

I Don't Wanna Grow Up

This friday is the best friday EVER, not only we get to have a full house family gathering; my dad and beautiful sisters and little brother came to Bahrain -They live in Kuwait; Incase you are wondering-.

After lunch, me and my sisters went shopping in City Center. I bought 2 things only which shows in the pics below...

  From Sephora...

Sephora Colorful Eye Shadow Palette called Cocktail on the Beach 12. I will be using it for the New Year tommorrow inshallah along with the Primer that is mentioned below -woowhoo- =D

I finally bought eye shadow primer from Sephora, I've always wanted the Urban Decay's primer, sadly we don't have it here in Bahrain. Anyways, I thought to myself, why not buy a good primer from Bahrain!!? so I got this one from Sephora it's called 'Shadow Insurance -Lemon Drop-' from the brand 'Too Faced'... Will try it on tommorrow for the New Year's eve inshallah -Soo Excited- and will let you know in my coming post wether it's good or not ;)... The sales lady said it's one of the fast moving primers, it has a lemon tone to banish discoloration and ensures that the shadow won’t crease or fade.

Anyways, after the long shopping day, we went back to the hotel for dinner. And while I was checking out their rooms there, I saw this beautiful view in their balcony and had to take some pix...

I like blurring out the lights =D

Me... Looking at the lovely view, we can see almost all of Manama city's buildings and some of Muharraq's, very beautiful...

Last but not least, my hubby took my little bro Yaqoob to Toys"R"Us and bought him some of his favorite toys, and this is the one yaqoobii fell in love with.

He is soo excited, lol...

I love him, soo adorable... <3

What we wore:

Fruit & Yogurt For Dinner

My lightest and easiest dinner that I'm having tonight is; Fruit & Yogurt. What I normally do is Fruit Parfait, but since I'm out of granola, I made myself a parfait excluding the yummy granola part...

Here's what you'll need:

- I used 1 banana, and 1 small flat peach. -You can add berries and pineapple or any of your favorite fruit-
- Yogurt.
- Sweetener (Ex: Splenda)
- Optional: raisins + almonds + jam
- And ofcourse the granola, but I am out of it... =(

- Cut the fruit to small pieces.
- While you open the yogurt's lid, add to it the sweetener and mix very well.
- In a small bowl, Add the first layer; half the amount of the (fruits + raisins + almonds + jam + granola) followed by half of the yogurt.
- Then add the second batch of the same that you added in the first layer followed by the second half of the yogurt.
- Serve immediately to keep the granola crunchy...

And Happy Weekend my beautiful people... <3

Imagine Life Sweeter

In reply to one of my favorite bloggers "Fionka" in her latest blog post, here. I went through all of my Splenda sweetener packets in my kitchen to read what's written behind them, and this is my favorite one...

And thanks to you Fionka, now I'm pretty much obsessed with it; everytime anyone wants sugar, I let them pick one and read it as if it was a fortune cookie, LOOOL... I love it... =D

My Favorite Mug

I don't know about you, but I have this thing for mugs. Every once in a while I fall for a different mug, or I add a new one to my collection of mugs -Crazy huh??-. Recently, I went to Starbucks and saw this beautiful red and white mug with Starbucks logo in the middle, it kinda reminded me of christmas candy cane, which also adds a christmasy and wintery feeling to it. The mug is soo cuddly that fits perfectly in my hands, and just by the look of it, I make any excuse to myself to prepare any kind of cold/warm beverage to use the mug... Heheheh I don't know if this is a normal thing or not, but I'm madly in looove with it... <3

Bahrain National Day Decorations

Bahrain's National Day is celebrated on the 16th of December, and the preparations for this day have been prepared almost two weeks ago. And whenever I pass by Riffa Town, the streets were always busy and filled with people parking their cars on the side of the streets to take pictures near the lovely emblems of The Kingdom of Bahrain and the colorful decorating lights, so I couldn't help but asking my lovely friends to come with me and take some photos and share this beautiful scene and atmosphere together -Thank God it's winter, lol-.

 Me =p

May Allah bless our Kingdom and bring peace and joy inshallah... <3
